Product Description Whether you listen to a portable radio or a top-of-the-line stereo receiver, the quality of sound coming from an FM station is dependent upon the station's signal strength in your area. Adding an FM antenna can help greatly, so be sure to select the best FM antenna for your needs. The FM Reflect Antenna will work with any portable or stereo receiver. This antenna incorporates a new dipole design for maximum gain across the entire FM broadcast band. Up to 213 percent more powerful than a standard dipole antenna, it covers the entire FM band with an almost flat response, where standard dipoles start to fall off near the end of the band. Many FM stations now broadcast their signal with circular polarization. The FM Reflect Antenna is the only FM antenna that can be adjusted to take advantage of this. It is not affected as much by surrounding objects and people as other FM antennas are.

best antenna October 29, 2007 Don R. Senanayake (San Diego, CA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
The best antenna I have ever come across. After using so many brands like Radioshack, Terk,I was still not satisfied. I just bought this one through Amazon.I couldn't believe how strong the signals are locking in to my Sansui analog tuner with this antenna. No distortion whatsoever. There is a classical station that is broadcast from Tijuana that I couldn't listen to without hissing noises. But after I put this one Voila!!!!!!!!! CLEAN sound. I love it
Outperforms a Terk FM-50 IMHO December 23, 2008 Righteous Reader (Paducah, KY USA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I had a Terk FM-50 which worked for a while unamplified. Replaced it with this and used the same RG59 12' cable to connect it to my home theater receiver. It was an improvement when I connected the FM Reflect to it, but then the signal got worse again. So I replaced the original RG59 with 12' of quad shielded RG6 and now Public Radio comes in crystal clear. The biggest benefit is that besides the improved analog reception this antenna will work with HD radio.
The quality of RG6 cable you use, if any, is vital. Also, though it isn't in the instructions that come with the antenna you can use any "screw-on to push-on F connector" to connect to the unthreaded coax connector on the back of your receiver.
It Works September 5, 2007 J. Mcdaniels (Los Angeles) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I have been looking for a cheap way to get better FM reception. The Crane antenna fits the bill. Stations that were fuzzy now come in clear.
The picture does a bad job in showing you what the antenna looks like. It is made with flexible rubber. You can bend it any why you like. Very convenient.
Where has this been all these years! May 25, 2007 N. Thompson (Atlanta, GA) 13 out of 16 found this review helpful
The diffence this antenna made is unbelivable. Static-gone. Hissing-Gone. Interference due to people walking around-Gone.
This antenna is worth every penny you pay for it, I would pay twice the price now that I know what a difference it makes.
Great Reception March 12, 2009 Great (NEO (North East Ohio)) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I just received this, unwrapped it, attached it to the receiver and wonders of wonders it works fine. Even the NPR stations which I could only pick up from my car are strong and clear. Both public broadcasting stations I listen to are 35+ miles away and I couldn't get their reception in my house only from my car. I also like listening to a station in Canada accross Lake Erie from me, and a small oldies station located in another county. Both were only reachable from my car but now I enjoy them both from my living room. Great antenna. I do have to hide it a little bit better.
