This item was purchased originally to be used at sporting events when you want to get the instant updates by the sports announcer as to specific plays. It is all that and more! Would highly recommend this item who wants a radio "to go". Was not familiar with the Coby brand but it is a great product.

Nice littel radio. Picks up rather well, even in a hospital under a lot of steel. It needs a clamp on the back to slip over the waist of your pants instead of a necklace attachment though. When running, I have to hold it to keep it from flapping all over the place. When walking, it's ok hanging around my neck. Long battery life too.

This radio is easy to use & has excellent sound quality (with the proper head phones or ear buds). The volume can be a little loud if not careful when turning up the volume. Setting the "Presets" can be a little tedious, but once you get the hang of it, this process goes quickly. Very good radio for it's size.
The whole experience is married by the failure to provide decent instructions on how to use it.It is in teeeny tiny type, barely February 1, 2010
