Great radio January 26, 2010 E. Sandberg (Colorado) This little radio is great in the shower. We live in an area that has quite a few radio stations with strong power that I am sure is an important factor.
Conair SR10 review February 15, 2010 Brett W. Bowling I live an area with poor radio reception due to the distance to the radio antennas, My SR-10 works beautifully. Love the on/off button also (instead of a volume control to turn radio on/off)
Amazing little radio - had for 4+ years May 6, 2010 Roy (Dallas) I've had this for 4 + years and the battery tends to last about one year. The reception is pretty good but granted the dial needs to be turned very slowly to find the right frequency. The audio isn't booming bass but when you spend $20 for such a thing you get what you pay for...its all relative and this item is more geared towards talk radio.
Good for limited purposes. February 5, 2010 Lynn Walker (Ritzville, WA) It's acceptable, if only barely, for the price. We have an FM transmitter hooked up to our satellite-receiver audio out, to broadcast a music channel throughout the house to any FM radio; thus, the signal within the house is strong. Even so, this thing is finicky, and other than the local signal, pulls in very few stations (though, in fairness, we are in a remote area). If you are in a metro area with solid reception in your house or apartment, this will probably do. The sound quality is mediocre, but we don't expect a music hall in the shower stall; for the duration of a shower, it suffices.
don't buy December 2, 2009 David Moskowitz (NY) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This item doesn't get good reception on any am stations. I have had other shower radios that worked fine for years in the same location. The dials are poorly made and are the reason for the bad tuning.
