pretty darn good! May 12, 2007 Francis Gonella 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
they are all I expected and more. the only downside is that they start to hurt your ears if you wear them for a long time. other than that... the sound is great and the headphones are compact!

Don't do it! December 22, 2007 Always Hopeful (Pacific Northwest) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
Aside from the generally tepid customer reviews of various Coby products, my first clue should have been the clearly visible scuffs on the face of the CX-7 when it was still safe inside the blister packaging. I opened the package anyway. My second clue was the cheap quality of the radio body, the tiny dial with only a few station numbers to guide your tuning. I liked the general design and the ear phones, though, so gave it a try. At work (which was my primary reason for purchase), exactly 2 FM stations were received and some additional AM stations. I live in a major metropolitan area so would have expdected more to be received. At home, more stations came in. However, the reception of these few stations was pretty bad to begin with, but to make it worse, they faded and scratched in and out as I walked around (so so much for the portability factor). But what finished it off for me was the fading volume. On my third short session with the radio, still with the same brand new batteries, the volume began to fade after about 5 minutes of listening and was completely dead within 2 more minutes. 2 more attempts yeilded the same result. The final resting place for my CX-7 is the trash can. I recommend not wasting your money.
coby radio August 2, 2009 Dr. Joe (Massachusetts) I purchased this to use at the gym, specifically to watch the television while on a treadmill. The dial is not digital and I find it very hard to tune in to the stations. I had another Coby with a digital tuner that was much more effective.
